Cornice Run is more like a catwalk than a run but it gives the intermediate a chance to see the top and all the runs off of it without having to go down them. You will have to go down eventually, with the easiest being the final part; the West Wall. If you choose to go off before that, you will have to jump off the cornice, with landings in moguls, or more preferably powder. Always spot your landing before jumping off as rocks and people may be below! With speed you can fly for distance!
