OCCS. GROOMED
Some might call Columbine the main run in Montezuma Bowl. This wide open powder field is perfect for your first foray into this area as it’s easy and you can see much of the bowl without risking life or limb. Go back up on the lift and scout out where you want to do next. They usually groom this from top to bottom and the snow stays nice here. The top is steeper but then it gets flatter and easier as you go. Super fun carved turns are the norm here and you’ll love it’s consistent pitch. Watch out for others as this is probably the busiest of the slopes here and many will join you coming off the other runs.
