The Molly Hogan lift is a very short two person chair at the bottom of A-Basin. This is an interesting place to learn how to ski or snowboard since it’s base elevation is 10,800 which means you can have all types of weather. The terrain itself is very flat and short. The beginner who can stop and turn solidly left and right should go up the Exhibition chair and take some of the longer and wider green trails. On days that are not snowing or cold this is a good place to teach the very basics to the first day skier or snowboard. When it’s cold or nasty, this is not a fun place to learn a new sport.
